The beta for the next DOFUS Touch update is now available in-game! After lots of teasers on our website and social media channels, and also from some of your favorite YouTubers, it's time to reveal the new content!

A new version of DOFUS Touch is available in beta mode!

Update 1.58 will be a mouthwatering one to say the least: a revamped Tactical Mode, prettier and more theme-based, an improved Elite Bonus Pack, as well as new equipment to try… And all this at your fingertips!

To find out more about using the beta and understanding how and where to report problems found, please refer to this article.

Here is the full changelog for the changes made

Revamped Tactical Mode

Tactical mode is getting a makeover! Depending on the area you're fighting in, it will take on a suitable, more appealing look. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's a before and after:
Mode tactique DOFUS Touch

A good 20 themes are available to make your fights more varied and enjoyable!

As a result of these changes:

  • Tactical mode is now turned on by default.
  • The in-combat grid is turned off by default.

Improved Elite Bonus Pack

The Elite Bonus Pack has definitely earned its name. Always at the top, always reaching higher, and always striving to get even better! You're already familiar with its many benefits:

  • Classic XP and drop bonuses in fights (+150%)
  • Classic XP bonus on quest XP rewards (+150%)
  • Classic XP bonus on professions (+50%)
  • Unlimited restats on characteristics (outside of fight preparation phase)
  • Unlimited restats on spells (outside of fight preparation phase)
  • Daily mission reset each day upon login
  • Access to the Premium house to get the Manitou Zoth and fight class dopples all from the same place

And as if that weren't enough, three big additions will be magically appearing in the next update and are already available on the beta server:

  • Addition of a portable zaap, through a new button on the shortcut bar, to save you considerable time in-game.
  • Unlimited color changes, accessible from the inventory, for unlimited style options.
  • Removal of the floating Shop button to optimize screen space and improve your in-game experience.

And despite all these upgrades, the price of the Elite Bonus Pack isn't changing a bit! Amazing, right?

That leaves just one question: How will you know that the Elite Bonus Pack has changed? Easy! The EBP will be changing from red to blue! That way, it'll be easier to spot among the other packs in the shop.

Bonus Pack Elite

The Elite Bonus Pack has been turned on by default for the entire beta server.

Display of Boss Achievements

  • Boss achievements are now displayed directly in fights! They are grouped with challenges but with a different background color.

Moving with a Full Inventory

  • When the character's inventory is full ("full pods"), the character no longer gets stuck but can now move around by walking.
  • Some restrictions have been added when a character has a full inventory: when teleporting in dungeons, using zaaps and zaapis, and the ability to join a fight.

New Equipment

  • New equipment is available:
    • Berylbell Set, level 196
    • Pnosis Set, level 200
    • Lunar Set, level 200
    • Luminescent Set, level 200
  • The Farle Ingalsse Set has changed.

Interfaces

  • In the interface that groups zaaps and bounties, you can now sort the columns by name, position, and cost.
  • A new button has been added to the shortcut bar for the portable zaap feature now available in the Elite Bonus Pack.

Quests

  • In order to limit the number of quest markers shown on the screen, they won't be displayed until the objectives with counters (number of resources to give, monsters to kill, etc.) have been completed.
  • In order to make the Ochre Dofus quest easier and avoid the restriction on alliances in some areas, there is now a small chance that Dopple monsters will appear in the "Road to Brakmar" area.
  • A wanted monster now reappears immediately in the area if it was defeated by a player who didn't have the quest to capture it.
  • The "Dead to the Worm" quest can be completed properly again.
  • The "Chunderbirds Are Go!" quest now only requires you to defeat three "White Snappers".
  • The "Dance of Death" quest no longer grants the completion rewards twice.
  • When the "Litol Goblait the Goblinmagus" quest is completed, the follower NPC now disappears properly.
  • The fight in the "Heavy Duty!" quest has been fixed.

    • A Sinister Mine
    • Odious Island (opening of Horrib Isle)

Miscellaneous

  • When changing a character's colors – either using the Elite Bonus Pack or the color change potion – they now change immediately without having to leave the game server.
  • When a player is disconnected from a fight and is playing with other players, only that player's "first" turn will not be skipped automatically. If the player is alone in the fight, their turns will not be skipped automatically.
  • In smithmagic, when a rune has no chance of success, it is no longer consumed, and the item is no longer changed.
  • The "Static" challenge is no longer available against the Missiz Freezz and Count Harebourg bosses.
  • When selecting several crafting profession resources in a row on the same map, the action queue is no longer canceled if another play harvests one of these resources.
  • It is now impossible to summon more than one groups of monsters at once per account in arenas.
  • You can now return the items from the Albueran Honorary Set to the Jarl when they are no longer needed.
  • Several animations have been added to the NPCs in the Albuera area.
  • The Brulay and Dehluge petsmounts no longer improperly display the character's head twice.
  • The bonus granted per monster (as food) has increased for the Ratcham pet.

  • The appearance of Enutrofs' hair has been fixed during a run animation.
  • The floating Shop button no longer appears improperly when logging out and back in during combat.
  • Several texts have been corrected.

Class Balancing and Bug Fixes

Feca

With the change to the spell, we want to make playing the Fire path slightly more flexible; it was difficult to take advantage of its spell with the highest damage.

Furnace

  • The spell's damage has increased at all levels:
    • Level 1: 22-26 (27-31) → 24-28 (29-33)
    • Level 2: 23-27 (28-32) → 25-29 (30-34)
    • Level 3: 24-28 (29-33) → 26-30 (31-35)
    • Level 4: 25-29 (30-34) → 27-31 (32-36)
    • Level 5: 26-30 (31-35) → 28-32 (33-37)
    • Level 6: 31-35 (36-40) → 33-37 (38-42)
  • The spell's range has increased at levels 5 and 6:
    • Level 5: 3 → 4
    • Level 6: 4 → 5

Cra

We wanted to make some changes to the Air path because it seemed far too sidelined at a very high level. Rather than increase the overall damage of the path and focus on the least-played spells, we chose to develop the path's spells that interact best with the rest of the kit, but without increasing the initial damage.

Pitfall
  • The trap's area of effect has been harmonized with the trap's shape.
  • The area of effect and the trap's area are now a 2-cell-radius circle.
  • The duration of the MP penalty has decreased: 2 turns → 1 turn.
  • The duration of the applied state has decreased: 2 → 1 turn.
  • The cooldown period has decreased at all levels: 7/6/5/4/3/2 → 6/5/4/3/2/1.
  • The spell's description has changed.

Bat's Eye

  • Damage is no longer affected by the gradual decrease (damage no longer decreases based on the distance from the center of the area). This change also applies to damage replicated by beacons.
  • The spell's description has changed.

Explosive Arrow

  • Damage replicated by beacons now properly matches the spell's initial damage.

Ecaflip

We wanted to strengthen some damage spells, especially those with greater casting constraints (low range, straight-line casting, etc.) to encourage more consistent use of the entire array of spells.

Ecaflip's Luck

  • The value of the damage increase and decrease effect has increased: 10% → 15%.

Reflex

  • Damage has increased at levels 5 and 6:
    • Level 5: 31-35 (35-39) → 33-37 (37-41)
    • Level 6: 35-39 (39-43) → 37-41 (41-45)

Tenderness

  • Damage has increased at all spell levels:
    • Level 1: 14-17 (16-19) → 16-19 (18-21)
    • Level 2: 16-19 (18-21) → 18-21 (20-23)
    • Level 3: 18-21 (20-23) → 20-23 (22-25)
    • Level 4: 20-23 (22-25) → 22-25 (24-27)
    • Level 5: 22-25 (24-27) → 25-28 (27-30)
    • Level 6: 26-29 (28-31) → 29-32 (31-34)

Playful Claw

  • Damage has increased at levels 5 and 6:
    • Level 5: 36-40 (40) → 38-42 (45)
    • Level 6: 42-46 (48) → 43-47 (50)

Feline Spirit

  • Damage has increased at levels 5 and 6:
    • Level 5: 30-34 (36) → 32-36 (38)
    • Level 6: 36-40 (45) → 38-42 (46)

Enutrof

The Earth path – and especially the Prime of Life spell – was used too little in our opinion. Conversely, the Slaughtering Shovel was used far too ubiquitously ever since it had been changed. We wanted to upgrade the Earth path, on the one hand, by making the Prime of Life spell more aggressive, but also by slightly enhancing the path's flagship spell, Blinding Shovel, to make it more appealing overall.

Prime of Life

  • The MP reduction penalty applied by the spell has been removed.
  • New effect added: strength steal.
    • Level 1: 30 (40) for 2 turns
    • Level 2: 35 (45) for 2 turns
    • Level 3: 40 (50) for 2 turns
    • Level 4: 45 (55) for 2 turns
    • Level 5: 50 (60) for 2 turns
    • Level 6: 60 (70) for 2 turns
  • The spell's maximum range has increased at level 6: 5 → 6.
  • The maximum effect stacking has increased: 3 → 4.
  • The spell's description has changed.

Blinding Shovel

  • The maximum number of triggers for the additional damage effect has increased: 1 → 2.
  • The spell's description has changed.

Slaughtering Shovel

  • Damage has decreased at all spell levels:
    • Level 1: 23-28 (28-33) → 22-27 (27-32)
    • Level 2: 25-30 (30-35) → 24-29 (29-34)
    • Level 3: 27-32 (32-37) → 26-31 (31-36)
    • Level 4: 29-34 (34-39) → 28-33 (33-38)
    • Level 5: 31-36 (36-41) → 30-35 (35-40)
    • Level 6: 36-41 (41-46) → 35-40 (40-45)

Rogue

Since the Rogue's Water path is highly oriented around PvP, either by AP reduction or erosion, we wanted to give it a bit more flexibility and direct DPS ability.

Deception

  • Damage has increased at all spell levels:
    • Level 1: 18-22 (20-24) → 20-24 (22-26)
    • Level 2: 20-24 (22-26) → 22-26 (24-28)
    • Level 3: 22-26 (24-28) → 24-28 (26-30)
    • Level 4: 24-28 (26-30) → 26-30 (28-32)
    • Level 5: 26-30 (28-32) → 28-32 (30-34)
    • Level 6: 32-36 (36-40) → 34-38 (38-42)

  • Range has increased at spell levels 5 and 6:

    • Level 6: 4 → 5

  • A maximum number of casts per target has been added at spell levels 1-5: max 1 cast per target.
  • The maximum number of casts per target at level 6 has increased: 1 → 2.

Foggernaut

The Foggernaut's Fire path, in addition to being the least played in the various high-level content, still had the old critical rates, as did some of the class's other spells. We took advantage of the changes to make the Fire path more easy to use from a distance to compensate for the different casting constraints of the path's spells. This also made it possible to ease the casting constraints of some utility spells, giving Foggernauts more varied gameplay.

Osamodas

Despite the changes already made to the Air path, we aren't yet satisfied with the way it is used. That's why we wanted to strengthen some aspects of it to make it more coherent. It's also an opportunity to make the class more strategic by making Symbiosa usable more often and by further encouraging renewal of summons with Communion while energizing combat.

    • Koalak Mummy: Heals 10% of the target's HP

Eniripsa

Frot his update, we wanted to make several changes mainly to improve the Eniripsa's Air path, by making it more flexible in fights requiring great mobility, and to make some adjustments to the Water path to diversify the spells used.

Summoning of Toxic Flask

  • How it works has changed: At the end of its turn, the flask now inflicts immediate Air damage on infected enemies instead of using a poison. Once infected, an enemy will receive this damage regardless of where they are on the battlefield. This damage varies based on the infection level.

Summoning of Remedy Flask

  •  Now, the flask refunds allies for 100% of the last Air damage inflicted on it by its controller.
  •  When its controller inflicts Air damage on it and once per turn, the Remedy Flask refunds them for 2 AP.

Resonating Word

  • The Toxic Flask is now attracted if it is aligned with or diagonal to the target, if this target is an enemy.
  • The Remedy Flask is now attracted if it is aligned with or diagonal to the target, if this target is an ally.
  • Damage has increased at spell levels 2 to 5:
    • Level 2: 12-14 (14-16) → 13-15 (15-17)
    • Level 3: 13-15 (15-17) → 15-17 (17-19)
    • Level 4: 14-16 (16-18) → 17-19 (19-21)
    • Level 5: 15-17 (17-19) → 19-21 (21-23)
    • Level 6: 21-23 (23-25) → 23-25 (25-27)

Draining Word

  • The percentage of healing from the spell's damage has decreased: 80% of damage inflicted → 75%.

    • Level 3: 20-22 (23-24) → 23-25 (26-27)
    • Level 4: 22-24 (25-26) → 25-27 (28-29)
    • Level 5: 24-26 (27-28) → 28-30 (31-32)
    • Level 6: 26-28 (31-32) → 32-34 (34-35)

Jarring Word

  • At level 6, the spell's pushback distance has increased: 3 → 4.

Dissolution

  • The area of effect has changed so that damage is no longer affected by the gradual decrease linked to the distance from the center of the area of effect: cross → empty-center cross.

Sram

The Air path, while being by far the most played, offered little diversity in terms of spells due to their casting constraints and the lack of direct damage for most of them.

We wanted to rework some of the spells while keeping the path's focus on poison, to offer Srams more possibilities in offense. Rather than simply decreasing the Air path, we also wanted to increase the abilities of some spells from the other paths slightly to make them more appealing.

    • Level 4: 6 → 6
    • Level 5: 6 → 7
    • Level 6: 6 → 8

Epidemic → Toxines

  • The Epidemic spell has been replaced by the Toxines spell.
  • Inflicts Air damage on the target. For the next two turns, each time the target suffers poison damage, the caster steals extra HP from it in the Air element.

Trap of Silence → Incapacitating Trap

  • The Trap of Silence spell has been replaced by Incapacitating Trap.
  • Places a square-shaped trap that has the following effects:
    • Applies the Weakened state for 2 turns.
    • Applies an Air poison for 2 turns.
    • At the start of its turn, a poisoned target will place a glyph 1 cell away from where it is. This glyph inflicts Air damage on entities that end their turn on it. The glyph stays on the ground for 2 turns.

Sadida

We didn't think the Fire path was satisfactory because it had difficulty fitting into single-element combat and used some mechanics we didn't like, such as poison per AP used or unparryable reductions. So, we decided to enhance the path and make it more independent. At the same time, we increased some of the Earth path's spells slightly to diversify the content and situations in which it can be used.
