Marks on Bones

It's been several weeks since the Al Howin curse spread throughout Amakna. Everything's slowly starting to get back to normal for the Gobballs and Tofus. But the Pumpkwins haven't changed. Will the curse wear off?
Horrib Isle is still accessible to adventurers, and its ghouls and Chafers have been having a field day since having the opportunity once more to break adventurers' bones by frightening them.

But this year, the island's gloomy inhabitants haven't just been visited by the bold and reckless. No: This time, they said some people were there investigating. Nicely hidden at the bottom of his cove, the guardian of the island's Chafers says he was accused of stealing and contaminating Pumpkwins, to his great surprise. He's got nothing to do with these tales. Nothing grows where he dwells except for weeds!

Far, far away from the island, almost lost but yet right in the middle of Cania, Boostache presumably received the same visitors. He's the one who wanted to make the most of this time to scare the wimps who came to visit the Haunted House, but now he's a little disappointed – annoyed even – by the reason his visitors came along. He would never have thought he'd be accused of committing such acts, especially with Pumpkwins.

So he took the opportunity to welcome the uninvited guests to his Ghostoplasm so they could see he can only paint things white – not red, green, and certainly not blue! That should show them the fright.

So the investigation still isn't progressing. Adventurers still just as many questions as before, if not more. Who's still tricking them? After broken bones and being beaten with a stick, they've now got their hands full with Ghostoplasms…

Stay tuned…
