Yes it will, just like all important content that is released!
The year-end update, so just a little more patience!
We've made initial corrections with the Crimson Dofus overhaul. It will need to be reviewed more in-depth, but it's a complex project that hasn't yet been scheduled. For now, our priority is the end-of-year update. But it's something we won't forget!
He's happy and doing very well! He's already worked on the improvements and fixes that you'll discover in the end-of-year update (yep, we're eager for it to come out!). He already knew the game very well, and that's a big plus for him, the team, and… you!
[Bob] our server developer, who you might have already seen several times on our Twitter feed has even already put him through the photo ritual. Looking good!
The only small hiccup is that he can't decide on a nickname… Do you have any suggestions for him?
We take into account the feedback we received from players in 2018, plus feedback from staff and the team. Yep, there are things we too want for the future of the game!
We need to take into account the number of players potentially affected as well as the various impacts in the game. That means there are several variables that enter into the mix, for example:
The 2019 schedule is still being drawn up!
We saw that this subject was of real interest to you, with lots of feedback. That proves that it's something that will be interesting to study for the future!
[Yawn] hasn't yet had time to formulate a response, but something will be done for the Dopples. Nothing's been decided yet, so feel free to continue suggesting your ideas in the Workshop!
That's a good idea. We'll pass on the request to the developers!
We've just made a few modifications, that you can discover in the Al Howin changelog! We'd like to study their impact before envisaging new changes.
Yes, there will be new equipment, including some bi-elemental equipment… and sooner than 2019!
We don't yet have a date to announce, but we are aware of the problem and it will be handled ASAP.
There already is one, but it is not directly visible for players. Players can already make purchases in kamas AND goultines in the Marketplace or in the Shop, excluding the Prestige section. Conversion and exchange rates are set automatically by the servers, based on their economic activity.
Thus, there's no need to try to exchange goultines for kamas!
We talked about changes to the Almanax, but they were pushed back. That solution seemed too punitive, in the sense that we were removing something without offering anything in exchange. We're studying a system that would limit the over-generation of kamas but that would bring you something else. The economy is always central in our thinking!
Yes, indeed, it's very fun to follow the community's theories! Thank you and your friends for the new series on these teasers. We'd like to invite players to check it out if they haven't done so yet! Here's episode 1 if anyone's curious:
Thank you all for your questions. See you soon for the next Ankama Live!

Zephix: Will the competitive PvM mode announced for the end of the year go through the beta server first?
Yes it will, just like all important content that is released!
Ravasz: What's the next new thing heading to the beta?
The year-end update, so just a little more patience!
Karnakoss: Are you planning to touch up the Minotoror dungeon anytime soon? The dungeon really isn't mobile friendly, and the repop system is very annoying.
We've made initial corrections with the Crimson Dofus overhaul. It will need to be reviewed more in-depth, but it's a complex project that hasn't yet been scheduled. For now, our priority is the end-of-year update. But it's something we won't forget!
Ravasz: How's the new developer who went to Japan at the start of the month settling in?
He's happy and doing very well! He's already worked on the improvements and fixes that you'll discover in the end-of-year update (yep, we're eager for it to come out!). He already knew the game very well, and that's a big plus for him, the team, and… you!
[Bob] our server developer, who you might have already seen several times on our Twitter feed has even already put him through the photo ritual. Looking good!
The new developer's workstation in Japan, before we show you more!
Ravasz: What are the various steps in determining the 2019 schedule for DOFUS Touch?
We take into account the feedback we received from players in 2018, plus feedback from staff and the team. Yep, there are things we too want for the future of the game!
We need to take into account the number of players potentially affected as well as the various impacts in the game. That means there are several variables that enter into the mix, for example:
- How strong is demand for it among players?
- How much good would it do for the game?
- How feasible is it?
- How long would it take, and what might have to wait (or not get done) if we do it?
The 2019 schedule is still being drawn up!
Ravasz: What ideas did the staff find most attractive when it comes to balancing the Dopple spell at level 200? (See this discussion in the Workshop in the official forum).
Ayrr: Are there any plans to someday add the total amount of our items and resources placed in Marketplaces? Just to have a little picture of how much we could potentially make!
That's a good idea. We'll pass on the request to the developers!
Exocer: I'd love to know what your short- and long-term projects are for the Kolossium (balancing, rating).
We've just made a few modifications, that you can discover in the Al Howin changelog! We'd like to study their impact before envisaging new changes.
LaysAmbreLac: I'd like to know what you have planned for 2019, and if any new bi-elemental items are planned for VHL?
Yes, there will be new equipment, including some bi-elemental equipment… and sooner than 2019!
Karnakoss: Do you have a date for the archmonster repop bug fix?
We don't yet have a date to announce, but we are aware of the problem and it will be handled ASAP.
UsSasuke: Are there any plans for a goultine exchange someday?
There already is one, but it is not directly visible for players. Players can already make purchases in kamas AND goultines in the Marketplace or in the Shop, excluding the Prestige section. Conversion and exchange rates are set automatically by the servers, based on their economic activity.
Thus, there's no need to try to exchange goultines for kamas!
Ravasz: What measures are there to prevent over-generation of kamas that you mentioned?
We talked about changes to the Almanax, but they were pushed back. That solution seemed too punitive, in the sense that we were removing something without offering anything in exchange. We're studying a system that would limit the over-generation of kamas but that would bring you something else. The economy is always central in our thinking!
Ayrr: Are you happy with the community's feedback following the end-of-year content teasers?
Yes, indeed, it's very fun to follow the community's theories! Thank you and your friends for the new series on these teasers. We'd like to invite players to check it out if they haven't done so yet! Here's episode 1 if anyone's curious:
