Trick or Trick?

It's that time of year, the time for tricks and trickier tricks. It seems that someone, somewhere in the World of Twelve, has been having fun driving adventurers mad on the continent and playing a nasty trick on them.

The guardian of the Skeleton Dungeon, bigger, taller and stronger than all the other Chafers there, seems to have decided to sow chaos in adventurers' hearts. Might he be jealous of Al Howin – jealous enough to sabotage his Pumpkwins? Jealous that his are the biggest? In any case, that's what a strange message found inside a Pumpkwin seems to indicate.

Peaceful in his vegetable patch, Al Howin was also disturbed, so of course he sent the few brave souls who came to accuse him of sullying his creations flying straight into brambles. After all, he's in the right – he doesn't stoop to that kind of black magic. What he does is much worse than coloring a few Pumpkwins. But when you mess with his, that's another story!

Adventurers are now all wondering the same thing: Who left the message? Why aren't the Pumpkwins "normal"? They thought they might learn more by paying Ronin Chafer and Al Howin a visit, but all they got for their trouble was broken bones and staff blows…
