During every Ankama Live, you can send your questions to our staff via Twitter with the hashtag #AnkaLiveTouch or directly in the Twitch chat during the live broadcast.
And the cool thing is that the DOFUS Touch team answers your questions! Here's a recap of the questions and answers that came up during [Ziphlot] and [Yawn]'s Ankama Live episode.
Several new sets are planned for all level groups, notably in connection with the end-of-year content. But we don't have an exact number to share with you!
We've been focusing on the Al Howin update and especially on the new PvM feature for the end of the year. The rest will be decided soon so we can draw up the 2019 schedule taking into account everything that happened and was said in 2018.
That's already the case for the tutorial if you have a level-30 or higher character in your account. For Joris, there aren't any plans to make it so he can be deactivated as long as players cannot reactivate him if needed.
At the moment, we're focusing on a smithmagic tournament that's coming up in November or December.
There aren't any Dofus revamp plans at this time.
Yes, we are thinking about how to do that!
The first round wasn't as much of a success as we'd hoped, so the idea is on standby for now until the concept can be improved.
In a workshop on the forum, we asked if you would prefer we overhaul zones or create new zones. The answers were mixed. We decided on new zones first. You'll be able to see for yourself at the end of the year!
No, that's really not part of our goals/desires.
We have other goals for the short term, and notably the end-of-year content as we mentioned earlier. AvA wasn't on our schedule for 2018, so there aren't any plans for it at this time.
In the long term, yes!
No major new balancing patches will be done before the next inter-server tournament.
It's still way too soon to reach an initial conclusion, particularly as there are still a few bugs to iron out.
The exact date hasn't yet been set (see our early answers about scheduling) but plans are still in place to create this zone for level-200 players in 2019.
Keep an eye on all DOFUS Touch social media in the coming days and weeks to get hints as they come out! We're counting on the community to run the investigation the way it should be. :)
In the long term, yes! New recipes and ingredients will be added for different professions.
It's not a bug! When we set up a trade with this NPC, we need to indicate in the parameters which item we give and which item we trade. We need to plan for every possible combination of all the turkeys in the game, which is just not possible at this time.
It's being studied.
No, we like to keep these maps exclusive to our PvP tournaments!
That's now a possibility thanks to the class change potion. But that system requires players to have extensive knowledge of the game because they have to be able to master any class. It's certainly too soon to test it out.
Idols will probably never be added to DOFUS Touch.
That's not something we're interested in for DOFUS Touch, so the answer's no.
We'd like to end this article with a recap of the spoilers that have come out in recent days, during AnkamaLive or on our Twitter account!
In all, five new weapons reserved for players between levels 100 and 200 are coming with the Al Howin update. Here are the first two (their characteristics could be modified before the update):

Ecaramel: How many new sets are coming out between now and the end of December?
Several new sets are planned for all level groups, notably in connection with the end-of-year content. But we don't have an exact number to share with you!
Ecaramel: What are your three biggest concerns/projects for DOFUS Touch at this time?
We've been focusing on the Al Howin update and especially on the new PvM feature for the end of the year. The rest will be decided soon so we can draw up the 2019 schedule taking into account everything that happened and was said in 2018.
Mufrap: Would it be possible to deactivate the tutorial with Joris when creating a new character? It's a bit much, especially when you already have several characters in your account.
That's already the case for the tutorial if you have a level-30 or higher character in your account. For Joris, there aren't any plans to make it so he can be deactivated as long as players cannot reactivate him if needed.
Xeelh: Is an incarnation tournament still in the works or have those plans been scrapped?
At the moment, we're focusing on a smithmagic tournament that's coming up in November or December.
Karnakoss: Are there any plans to revamp/balance the Emerald Dofus bonus?
There aren't any Dofus revamp plans at this time.
Zephix: Do you have any ideas about how to make the system to open the Lair of the Giant Kralove easier and make it more suitable for play on mobile devices?
Yes, we are thinking about how to do that!
Divinz: Any news about the spotlights on the guilds that you did? Are you going to be doing more?
The first round wasn't as much of a success as we'd hoped, so the idea is on standby for now until the concept can be improved.
Karnakoss: Are there any plans to upgrade the Nolifis Island area? For example, with a good dungeon containing all the Pandala Island bosses?
In a workshop on the forum, we asked if you would prefer we overhaul zones or create new zones. The answers were mixed. We decided on new zones first. You'll be able to see for yourself at the end of the year!
Suffer: Are you still not considering getting Dofus from quests instead of drops?
No, that's really not part of our goals/desires.
Senech: Why not limit the number of guilds per alliance (to like 10 max) to revive the AvA mode?
We have other goals for the short term, and notably the end-of-year content as we mentioned earlier. AvA wasn't on our schedule for 2018, so there aren't any plans for it at this time.
Karnakoss: Are there any plans to bring in petsmounts like Brulay?
In the long term, yes!
Auroros: Is a modification with a stronger impact on Osamodas planned?
No major new balancing patches will be done before the next inter-server tournament.
Karnakoss: What are your feelings one week after the class revamp went online? Can you already see changes that you like or dislike? Things to buff/nerf?
It's still way too soon to reach an initial conclusion, particularly as there are still a few bugs to iron out.
Karnakoss: Is part two of the Stubbyobs planned for the first part of 2019?
The exact date hasn't yet been set (see our early answers about scheduling) but plans are still in place to create this zone for level-200 players in 2019.
Mufrap: Can you tell us more about the competitive PvM that's coming at the end of the year?
Keep an eye on all DOFUS Touch social media in the coming days and weeks to get hints as they come out! We're counting on the community to run the investigation the way it should be. :)
Mufrap: Are there still plans to add new types of meat in the short or medium term?
In the long term, yes! New recipes and ingredients will be added for different professions.
Marajesty: Do you plan on fixing the Mounded Ghard bug? Or are you planning on adding a group transfer for this NPC?
It's not a bug! When we set up a trade with this NPC, we need to indicate in the parameters which item we give and which item we trade. We need to plan for every possible combination of all the turkeys in the game, which is just not possible at this time.
Ecaramel: Do you plan to add the character slot addition service?
It's being studied.
Kralastick: Are there plans to add the Abyss Joust maps to the Kolossium?
No, we like to keep these maps exclusive to our PvP tournaments!
Senech: Any plans to hold PvP tournaments with drafting for the classes?
That's now a possibility thanks to the class change potion. But that system requires players to have extensive knowledge of the game because they have to be able to master any class. It's certainly too soon to test it out.
SaturnHD: Any plans to implement idols?
Idols will probably never be added to DOFUS Touch.
Outhmaneee: Will there be variants like there are in DOFUS PC?
That's not something we're interested in for DOFUS Touch, so the answer's no.
