You're used to seeing game updates, but today we'd like to share what we could call a "DOFUS Touch communication update"!
In order to facilitate the circulation of information about the game and improve communication between the community and staff, we would like to make a few communication changes.
Learn all about Discord, and the creation of a "Workshop" to talk with you!
Discord
Starting the DOFUS Touch Discord was a real success, with more than 10,000 users soon – so much of a success that it is becoming difficult for us to keep track of it all properly!
Communication with Staff
Other than Community Managers, the members of the DOFUS Touch team will close private messaging going forward.
The entire team finds it more efficient to spend 10 minutes writing a post on the official forum where it can potentially be read by hundreds of players, rather than spending 10 minutes talking with a single player (even though that's always a pleasure!).
We do very much want to communicate with you (keep reading to be sure), but we want to do so more optimally.
Suggestions and Bug Reports
The Suggestions and Bug Reports channels have been closed.
Our problem was that players would post on various subjects, followed by lively debates. After an entire weekend of this, for example, it was complicated for the staff to sort through the messages and answer each player properly! It was also harder for the community to follow, and lots of suggestions were repeated about the various debates and reports.
So now we invite players to head to the sections Suggestion Box and Bug Reports sections of the official forums. Each subject will have its own thread, and it will be easier for everyone to follow each discussion. Of course, our team will do everything it can to answer you as much as possible, favoring the forum a bit more now.
The Workshop
That's not all! A new section in the forum is now available: The Workshop.
Only staff will be able to start threads to discuss certain upcoming changes in the game. Everyone can come and participate in the discussions (constructively, of course!) to contribute to the evolution of DOFUS Touch, hand in hand.
We had begun this process with a handful of players, but that didn't fit what we have offered in terms of transparency since the start of DOFUS Touch.
To open the workshop, you'll find two initial discussion topics: adding (or not) new trophies and the appearance of legendary weapons. Other subjects will be offered for discussion in the future.
The new things discussed in the workshop won't yet have a release date and could possibly be modified considerably or never be added to the game, based on your feedback.
Feel free to swing by to join the discussions with the rest of the community and our team!
See you soon.
