Want to liven up your server and put on a well-organized community PvP tournament with Ankama's support? You've come to the right place!

One of our goals for 2018 is to offer official inter-server PvP tournaments, but it's going to take a lot more work than we thought. In the meantime, our community management team can help you put on community competitions on your servers!

Ankama's Advantages

Promotion and Support

We showcase your tournaments in different places: on the official site and social media, as well as in-game through server messages. This can help you meet your enrollment goals and drive up the number of tournament spectators.

Based on their IRL availability, community managers and moderators will set the (good!) mood for in-game tournaments. Please note that managing the competitions themselves (collecting results, launching fights, etc.) is still your responsibility as organizers.

Prizes

For each tournament organized in conjunction with our team, we offer prizes in addition to those given out by the organizers:

  • An exclusive title for tournament winners: "God of the Arena"
  • An exclusive title for referees and organizers: "Populist Agitator"
  • A Battler Shield: handed out when you win your first tournament
  • A Battler Helmet: handed out when you win your second tournament
    • The "Battler" title will only be unlocked if you are wearing both these items
  • A Gerbean Pet
  • Bonus Packs

How to Organize Your Tournament

Of course, as organizers, taking part in this support program means being somewhat rigorous in developing your events so that everything can go off without a hitch and the quality is there for all the participants.

Before presenting your tournament to Ankama, you need to have put the minimum requirements in place for your tournament:

1. Recruit a team of organizers and referees
2. Write up the tournament conditions and rules
3. Set the schedule
4. Contact video makers to stream the tournament
5. Create a Discord discussion thread to cover the tournament (optional, but highly recommended)
6. Select maps that are accessible (for spectators) and balanced (for participants)

You will find two good examples on the official website:

Once all the details are ready, PM [Flatops]#4062 on the Dofus Touch Discord with all the information (in the form of a Word document or PDF).

Now you've got all the cards you need in hand to organize epic competitions on your server!
