THE MAGIC OF KWISMAS

Until January 23, 2018, enjoy the famous Kwismas Island by taking Hector Kwismas' boat, located at [8, -6]! This magical isle features a wide range of content, including:
 

• Three areas, each of a different level, with three Kwismas Dungeons, as well as unlockable achievements
• Kwismas-themed rewards, such as the Slayhound petsmount
• Gifts that drop from the island's various monsters
• A community quest, including the mysterious room of slabs
• New daily and one-off quests
• A Kwismas Dragoturkey
• You might also cross paths with the terrifying Kwismas Minotoball, who will offer you a shield and an exclusive title if you manage to defeat him.

This year marks the arrival of a new level 199 set: the Father Whupper Set! A few popular spots have been decorated for Kwismas.
 

 LORD CROW'S LAIRS

 

• Two new lairs of level 90 to 120 are appearing in Eltneg Wood and the Crow's Domain, in northern Cania.
• These will allow you to collect new resources with which to craft a new level 120 set.
• A new achievement is available for each of these lairs.
• We took the opportunity to add 7 new quests in the surrounding area.
• Bwork Camps are cropping up around the Crow's Domain; it's up to you to find out why!
• It is now possible to access the Crow's Domain by way of [-19,-60]. This change isn't currently visible on the world map.
• The Crow's Domain welcomes a new monster with its level in the range of Lord Crow's dungeon.
• Rewards obtained from achievements for Lord Crow's dungeon have been decreased. This will now always be the case for dungeons linked to lairs.

 

NEW SHOP CATEGORY

 

• The Prestige category makes its appearance in the in-game Shop. Check out the dedicated devblog to learn more.

 

CHILL PILL

A new consumable is coming to the in-game Shop, only purchasable with Goultines and in packs of three: the Chill Pill. While this item is active, it prevents the player from being attacked by groups of monsters.
 

• This bonus only works in PvM and only prevents attacks by monsters; the potion has no effect on quest combat, resource protectors, or PvP combat.
• The pill also won't prevent a player from attacking a group of monsters as long as said player initiated the fight.
• The consumable's effect lasts for 10 minutes after the potion is activated from the player's inventory.
• The effect is only applied to the character who uses it, not all characters on the player's account.
• You can stack pills to make the effect last longer.
• The effect will remain even if the character dies or logs off.
• Logging the character off won't pause the timer.
• Server unavailability won't pause the timer either.

 

CHANGES TO THE DOFUS

 

• The drop rate for the Turquoise Dofus is now lower. It had become much easier to get since Bonus Packs went up to 150% of XP and drop rates, so we wanted to make it more valuable again.
• The Crimson Dofus now provides a random throw varying between +50 and +80 in power. Existing Crimson Dofus will stay the same.
• The drop rate for the Crimson Dofus is now lower as a result, and for the same reason as the Turquoise Dofus.

 

LABYRINTH OF THE MINOTOROR

 

• In order to have easier access to the Minotoror boss, an additional Mumminator and Deminoball will now appear in the maze. This is a temporary solution as the team further studies the case. 

 

SORTING THE INVENTORY AND THE BANK

 

• It is now possible to sort the items in the inventory and in the bank: by name, by weight, by weight of the stack, by quantity, by average price, by average price of the stack, by level and by category. It is also possible to search for a specific item.

 

IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BESTIARY

 

• It is now possible to locate monsters on the World of Twelve map. Just click on the "Compass" icon next to the monster's name on the Bestiary.
• If the monster is present in several areas, the closest to your character will be displayed first.
• The favorite area of the monster is colored in blue, the other areas in green.

 

MERCHANT MODE

 

• Characters in Merchant Mode also switches to Creature Mode when enabled outside of combat.

 

TOURNAMENT AREA

 

• A new room will be available in the Kolossium in [-13, -29]. This will allow access to new PvP maps for community tournaments begininng early 2018. More information will be shared in due time!

 

MISCELLANEOUS

 

• A stage dealing with the in-game Shop has been added to the Incarnam tutorial with Joris.
• An NPC in the house at [5, 3], reopened and renovated for the occasion, now lets you trade in duplicates of equipment obtained from lairs.
• It is now possible to create Mimisymbics of Frigost 3 items as soon as certain conditions are met.
• Various map interactions and transitions have been fixed.
