Today we would like to share with you some tips in making videos and live broadcasts on mobile, as well as introduce our new partnership program! Follow our guide!

How do I stream or make videos?

Mobcrush, Specialist In Mobile Streaming

Despite still being in beta, although it does appear to be stable, Mobcrush is THE specialist in mobile streaming. It's very easy to use. All you need to do is create an account and download the app to your tablet, then onto your PC or Mac. That's all there is to it! Now, you can start streaming!

The stream is broadcasted directly from your tablet so you won't need any third-party software to record it first. This guarantees optimal quality. Of course, you'll still need a suitable internet connection!

You can customize your overlay, your camera, and much more. All your live streams are recorded and you will be able to download them and export them to other platforms, such as YouTube.

Twitch, The Benchmark

Almost everyone's heard of Twitch, the benchmark platform in the word of streaming.

Android users can use the Twitch app to stream directly from their tablet without the need for a computer.

On the other hand, it's also possible to stream on a tablet using a video capture device to record the image on your tablet and broadcast it from your computer. Then, it's as you'd expect: OBS or XSplit to configure your stream, and you're off! Visit the Twitch FAQ to find out more.

For starters, here's a video example (in French).

Other Options For Video Capture

ApowerMirror will allow you to to stream by mirroring your Android & iOS screen to a Windows computer or Mac. Moreover, it allows you to remotely control Android devices on your computer.

On iOS

You will find various software on the App Store, such as AirServer or Reflector.

But the most effective solution to start is perhaps the new feature coming with iOS 11: screen recording! You can record both your screen and sound of your microphone very effectively.

Is there any risk to recording videos on an emulator?

Ankama reserves the right to ask YouTube (or any other platform) to delete any videos recorded on an emulator and to request sanctions on the channel in question. The Ankama accounts of the players concerned will also receive a ban.

Likewise, moderators will be able to sanction players recording a live session on Twitch or any other platform.

We hope these solutions will help you make fun videos and excellent live streams! If you have any more tips for video recording or streaming from a tablet or smartphone, please feel free to share them in the comments.
