Event : Design a DOFUS Touch Item

You might have heard of the Witter Beanie, the T’Youb, or the Oafblock Shield. They are exclusive items given as prizes through our community events. What if you were to design the next item with reference to our DOFUS Touch Discord, would you accept our challenge?

Some nights ago between painfully corny jokes, a few players of the DOFUS Touch Discord server had a very interesting proposal to our community managers.

"Why not create an item referencing Discord and players can win it through events? Better yet, why not give this once in a lifetime opportunity and let the players make it?"

Both ideas were quickly approved by our team! If you want to express your creativity and at the same time leave a legacy in DOFUS Touch, here's your chance!

 

How to participate?

• You must design an original cape, hat or shield that’s a reference to Discord. You can create all three items if you wish, but we will only select one at the team’s discretion.
• Draw inspiration from the Discord logo and its graphic guidelines without exactly copying it, like what we did with the Oafblock Shield that was inspired by Facebook.
• The item can be presented in different angles (we prefer this option).
• The look and feel must blend with the Krosmoz universe.
• You can provide a brief description of the item if you wish.
• You can use traditional (pencil, pens) or digital (computer) methods.
• Each participant must only submit one fanart either by
  • Posting your art in the comments section of this news
  • Posting your art on Twitter, using the hashtag #DiscordDT and tagging @DOFUSTouch_EN.
• The fanart must be of one’s own creation and must adhere to the Forum Rules.
• The contest ends on Sunday, September 17, 2017 11:59 PM CEST.

The Rewards

• The winning design will be applied in-game by the end of 2017.
• The winner will also receive a Paint emote as well as two Mimisymbics.

Please note:

• Entries will be evaluated by the team and judged according to the following criteria : technical feasibility and original design.
• Selected entries by the team will then be put in a poll to be voted by the community.
• The winning design will be reworked and refined by our team in order to be consistent with the graphic guidelines of DOFUS Touch.
• The contest is open to ALL DOFUS Touch communities and only 1 will be declared the winner.
