While we were taking stock off the last twelve months, we got a little emotional as we looked back on all the moments that made this such an exceptional year. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or an intrepid newcomer, 2023 was a memorable adventure!
Twelve intense months!
First, we started off with the traditional festivities: Saint Ballotwine's Day, Saint Potrick's Day, and the Gobbstock Festival. After that, there was Vulkania of course, its sun burning bright and its magnificent beaches, and Al Howin, where even the Gobballs dress up as monsters to scare the adventurers, as well as Kwismas and its magical decorations! And each of these holidays gave you a nice occasion to fight some monsters!
Speaking of fighting, PvP didn't disappoint this year either! The tournaments were so epic we don't know where to begin. The second edition of Maysial Munch and Abyss Joust #3 showed us some unforgettable combats! And, of course, let's not forget the famous Abyssal Duel, which went off wonderfully!
The updates also brought a lot of new things: group searches, revamped characteristics, the 1v1 kolossium eagerly awaiting you all… In sum, some wonderful modifications that really changed the World of Twelve landscape, which we're making an effort to improve every day.
In 2023, we also started rotating servers with a view to staying focused on our main goal: fighting bots. If they're a scourge for you, bear in mind they're even worse for us, and this fight is very much on our minds. We are delighted that this measure worked so well, and as you most certainly know by now that we also did this on the international Spanish-speaking servers.
Anyhow, we also made a point of doing our best to listen to your suggestions and ideas! Feedback is getting faster and more concrete, and we certainly bring up your ideas for discussion during our loooooooong meetings with the whole team! In view of that, we thought it was important to highlight the most common and relevant suggestions: And that's what led us to make Touch-Point! We are still eager to post the next edition and read your feedback. That's why we are taking all these measures: to create a true dialogue with you!
Your achievements for the year!
And because a few numbers can always say more than a ton of words, here are some statistics we thought would be fun to share with you:
First, 37 155 of you made it past level 200 in 2023! Congratulations! It wasn't easy. The adventure was riddled with pitfalls, but you were up to the challenge. You can be proud of yourselves!
We also wondered what your favorite dungeon was. Unsurprisingly, it was Labyrinth of the Minotoror! We get how much you really like Minotoror, but at this stage, you are obsessed!
Now let's take a different look and see which monster killed the most players. This year it was none other than Mama Bwork! Ferocious and merciless, okay, but at this point this is terrifying! / What a surprise! He didn't look nearly as ferocious on paper however…
2023 was marked by the sign of the wabbit! By the way, how many do you think you defeated? 3 974 604! Incredible! We don't have the stats from 2022, so let's just assume that's the record there!
You are seasoned adventurers, okay, we really get it. Battles, dungeons, breeding… so many fascinating activities! Wouldn't you be surprised to know that least unlocked achievement in 2023 was "With Enough Soap" Really? What do you have to say in your defense? But you knew how to restore your image: The Ice Dofus is no small matter, and you know it! And 6 237 of you managed to obtain it anyway! And here's another proof of your bravery: a total of 4 243 legendary weapons were dropped this year!
Of course, there are so many other stats we could share with you, but let's hold on to that for another time, perhaps. Sharing this kind of information with you is an original way for us to take a look back on a very busy year that really left a mark on us!
