Your voices have been heard! See our detailed answers to all your suggestions, ranging from the mundane to the farfetched, which allow us to build the future of DOFUS Touch together.

Here's the list of suggestions from October 19 to November 17.

Suggestions for Guilds

Adding a filter system would make the interface much more cumbersome, and that isn't what we want.

However, it is conceivable to associate rights with the ranks that can be assigned to guild members, thereby providing a better overview of each member's various rights based on their rank.

While we recognize the usefulness of this feature, there are no plans to implement it right now.

  • Itachi-loupo: In the rights available to guild members, replace the "Be the main Perceptor defender" right with the "Join in defending" right.
    See the original suggestion.

We don't want to remove the "Be the main Perceptor defender" right as it may prove useful for some guilds.

Adding an extra right to allow a member to join in defending may be considered, and it would represent an interesting addition to how a guild's leaders can manage its members.

  • Pegaz: When defending a Perceptor, prioritize control of the Perceptor for guild members with the "Be the main Perceptor defender" right.
    See the original suggestion.

We really like the idea because it adds something to the "Be the main Perceptor defender" right and seems consistent with the name of the right. We're keeping it in the back of our minds, so we may incorporate it in a future update.

Suggestions for New Features

Adding a dedicated smithmagic reset orb seems like a good idea to prevent smithmagi from becoming discouraged when luck isn't on their side.

We're looking at various options for incorporating this orb into the game.

  • Mishurra: Add an extra equipment slot to equip soul stones or capturing nets without having to remove your weapon.
    See the original suggestion.

We really like this feature, and we've already thought about options such as equipping a soul stone or a capturing net in the ceremonial weapon slot. Unfortunately, this option didn't pan out, but we're continuing to explore other options for incorporating this feature into the game.

  • Gouldorix#8813: Add legendary equipment that can be obtained by trading all equipment in a category with an NPC.
    See the original suggestion.

We don't want to add legendary equipment other than weapons. However, we would like to add more prestigious in-game items, but this isn't a priority right now.

Also, although we like the equipment recycling feature, it looks more like a shopping list without the prestigious side we're looking for. Therefore, this method would only appeal to a limited number of players.

We've been thinking about recycling used breeding items for some time now. Adding this feature could result in a loss of usefulness for the handyman profession, which isn't what our teams want, and this is therefore delaying the implementation of such a system.

The convenience of this feature is significant, but it could lead to players neglecting some monster groups with disadvantageous positions.

On a more technical note, starting positions aren't currently defined in advance, but rather when the fight is started, so a complete overhaul of the system would be required.

  • Pegaz: When a dungeon has to be completed as part of a quest, have access to a button directly in the quest book to start a group search for that dungeon.
    See the original suggestion.

With a view to making completing quests even more enjoyable, adding such a button is a nice idea that we'd like to keep in mind and incorporate in a future update.

Suggestions for Interfaces

  • Tomdescavernes#6543: Add an interface displaying stats on the number of monsters killed per area, with rankings and rewards available.
    See the original suggestion.

Adding such an interface would pose a few problems, especially an influx of high-level players into low-level areas in order to easily reach the top of the rankings. This influx of players would generate huge amounts of resources, and at the same time, it would have a negative impact on the economy.

Also, legendary weapons already exist as a reward for players who want to do fights in a specific area.

  • Arkin: Add a button that, when pressed on a resource you already have in the bank, opens the bank interface on the resource in question.
    See the original suggestion.

We really like this idea! Based on the original proposal, we'd like to add a button to the item-crafting interface in workshops to complete a recipe with banked resources automatically, paying the bank tax only once.

  • Fifou-la-bellette#4678: In the Ascension Island interface, show the time left before the end of the current rotation.
    See the original suggestion.

With a view to continually improving in-game interfaces, adding end dates for the current rotation in the Ascension Island interface is slated to be implemented in a future update.

  • Kabongi2#6716: In the dungeon list in the group search interface, add a key icon next to dungeons for which the bunch of keys is available.
    See the original suggestion.

Adding an extra icon to the group search interface would make it much more cumbersome.
Using the portable marketplace, you can buy a key anywhere if you don't have a key or bunch of keys in your inventory. This means it isn't disadvantageous to start a group search without first having a key in your inventory.

Suggestions for Combat

  • Deos-Moz: Show the states affecting monsters, summons, and players by changing the visual aspect of characters or the color of the cell where the entity is, based on the state applied.
    See the original suggestion.

Changing the visual aspect of characters based on their states poses a few problems, as some classes already have combat animations, such as Pandawas with the Boozer spell and Masqueraiders with their various masks. In a fight, it is possible to have more than one state at the same time, preventing all states from being shown with a visual change, as they aren't stackable.

As for showing states by changing the color of the cell where the entity is, this presents the same display issue when a character is in more than one state at once. This would also conflict with some existing cell color changes, such as glyphs and traps.

The suggestion is quite relevant, and it complements the existing spell effects preview in combat by showing any temporary HP loss or reduction, such as with the Masqueraider Trance spell. So, we'll keep the idea in mind and implement it in a future update.

  • Ravasz: Add information to the Kolossium end-of-fight interface, such as fight stats and the number of victories against opponents.
    See the original suggestion.

Showing so much information in the Kolossium end-of-fight interface would require storing too much data, which isn't possible right now.

It should be possible to show some information, such as highlighting the character who has inflicted the most damage or the best healer in the fight. This addition would emphasize players' actions during fights, so we think it would be interesting to incorporate this feature into the game.

Miscellaneous Suggestions

  • Lebelhandisme: Overhaul the pet system, making it possible to create breeding farms and obtain "Shiny" pets at a very low rate.
    See the original suggestion.

An overhaul of the pet system is one of our long-term projects. This overhaul would focus on their diets and bonuses, because our teams don't want to implement a breeding system, as this is reserved for dragoturkeys.
However, we would like to stress that we really like the idea of "Shiny" pets.

Archmonsters are already in the diets of some soul-eating pets. There are no plans to change the feeding habits of pets that don't have archmonsters in their diets, because not all pets are suited to this. Also, changing the types of monsters in pets' diets retroactively poses a number of issues, so changes are only made when absolutely necessary.

The fisherman profession could do with a few changes. We're thinking about improvements such as associating fishing areas with a type of fish, so everyone will know which fish can be caught; this is already the case for the other harvesting professions, so there's no reason why the fisherman profession shouldn't benefit from this feature.

These changes represent a more extensive project than you might think, because they involve changing all the in-game fishing areas, which isn't a priority right now.

Improving the interfaces and how items appear is one of our top priorities.

Showing surplus stats – more commonly referred to as "overs" – for equipment in a different color would make it easier to see which items have been modified by smithmagi, thus promoting their work. The idea has caught our attention and will be implemented in a future update.
